After attending high school at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, he went on to Princeton University, where he painted and majored in history. His work was a catalyst for the minimalist movement in the late 1950s. His art was all about treating a painting as a flat, physical object rather than a window to an imaginary world. He famously said, "What you see is what you see." He lived and worked in New York City for much of his career and died at his Manhattan home in 2024 at the age of 87.

Additional Information:

Ribbon cut

Includes insert with full puzzle image for reference

Packaged in an elegant, sturdy 2-piece drawer box with ribbon pull

Box and puzzle pieces feature foil stamping for a luxe finish

Thick, sturdy cardboard pieces

Puzzle Dimensions (in):
18.75 x 29

Puzzle Box Dimensions (in):
9.875 x 8.25 x 2

Age:
Adults/All Ages

Warning – Choking Hazard:
Small parts.
